Visit Brighton

VisitBrighton is the official tourism organisation for the City of Brighton & Hove. An arm of the Council, VisitBrighton is made up of a committed team of 20 people all passionate about our city and how we represent it to the world.

VisitBrighton currently works with approximately 300 local businesses from the large hotels and major attractions to independent retailers, restaurateurs and suppliers. Each business pays an annual subscription to be in our Partnership scheme which gives them a range of distinct marketing and sales opportunities. Partnership fees we receive are used to promote Brighton & Hove as a visitor destination both in the UK and overseas. In turn this creates wealth and employment for the city - these being our over-riding remit.

The Hove Centre

The Hove Centre makes for a superb alternative to Brighton city centre. The Hove Centre, Hove Town Hall, Hove, is just 5 minutes walk away from the seafront, and delegates wishing to visit the centre of Brighton can hop on a bus outside the Centre or walk just twenty minutes into Brighton.

Car parking facilities are excellent, with a large multi-storey car park opposite the venue, metered parking outside the venue, buses for most parts of Brighton and Hove outside the venue coupled with many fine restaurants and cafes close by, making the whole experience an enjoyable day out.

The Centre is versatile, meeting the multiple needs of the event; offering 'The Great Hall', a large meeting space, dining areas, gallery area, and a further banqueting conference area and reception rooms. There are airy and light lobbies and numerous, generously proportioned breakout spaces. Seminars rooms have natural daylight, and air conditioning. Lifts are positioned at ground floor servicing all areas for accessibility users.

Having managed, visited and exhibited, too, at many National and International exhibitions over the past thirty years, Star Communications recently event managed Hove Business Associations' Start-Up Business Show. Following that successful event, last September 2008, exhibitors called for a larger, full Business 2 Business Trade Show.

This larger and improved Business 2 Business Trade Show will have something for everyone 'doing' business in Brighton and Hove; whether its speed networking, business advice, meeting new contacts or buying new, local services or products.
