General terms and conditions apply when attending events

Security

Anti social behaviour and bullying prior to an event, or the event day, are not tolerated and will be reported to the police.

Suspicion of interception of emails, phone calls and social media sites will be reported as business crime to the police.

Events will be filmed in their entirety for security purposes. Security firms will be in operation during the day of the event.

The event management has the right to refuse admission.

Data Protection

Visitors and exhibitors are requested to provide their full name, email address and mobile phone number to gain entrance to the event. In some cases, further details may be requested. These details are not passed to third parties for marketing purposes and processed in line with guidelines provided by The Information Commissioners Office and The Data Protection Act 1998 and subsequent amendments.

Where the event organiser deems fit, these may be passed to third parties to ensure a secure event for attendees.

Students, Graduates, Business StartUps

Students, Graduates, Business Startups are all welcome. Simply complete the online registration form to gain admission and fill the ‘OTHER’ box with your status ‘Student’ – ‘Graduate’ - ‘Business Startup’

Filming, Photography, Podcasting, CCTV

For security reasons, Brighton & Hove Business film, photograph and occassionally podcast, continually throughout events.

The event has a strict policy of no photography, filming or podcasting throughout the day, without prior written permission from the event director, including by the use of mobile phones. Visitors will be asked to leave if found doing so. CCTV operates by the venue owner in accordance with their terms and

Soliciting

There is a strict policy of no soliciting at our events. Sponsors, supporters and exhibitors have specifically requested that they do not wish to be solicited to, by visitors, who will be asked to leave by the event organisation, if found doing so.

Age for admittance

Under 16′s are not insured or permitted into the event.

Entrance Policy

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry.

Presentations

Presentations are FREE when offered and open to students, graduates, job seekers, start-ups and SME’s.

Our aim has always been to provide as many services for disabled people, tailored to the needs of people rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach and we choose venues with this in mind for our events.

When visiting this event please inform the venue provider in advance, of any special needs you may have such as special seating, wheelchair access, requirements, managing steps, impaired hearing.

Accessibility services at chosen venues -

Parking services include a limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces in nearby car parks or by venues. Please check with the venue to reserve your space before leaving home.
